The Canton Recreation Department will offer a one-week lacrosse clinic this summer under the direction of Canton High School Lacrosse Coach Bill Bendell.  Coach Bendell and his staff will teach all facets of the game including passing, shooting, dodging, and defense.  Games will play a large role in the camp as well.  The camp will be held every day from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon at the Canton High School fields and the fee for one week of instruction is $90.  The camp is for players of all ability levels and is limited to boys who were in grades 5-8 as of September 2007. 

This is a great opportunity.  Many Canton High School lacrosse players have gone on to successful college careers in the DI, DII and DIII level at schools such as Fairfield University, Holy Cross, Franklin Pierce, Assumption and Merrimack College. 

Players should bring their own lacrosse stick, gloves, arm pads, shoulder pads, and helmet if possible. However, there is some equipment available for use during the camp.  Players who wish to attend the clinic but do not possess their own equipment should notify Coach Bendell as soon as possible to reserve equipment:  bbendell@hotmail.com.

Session I                     July 14- July 18                      9:00 am - 12:00 noon.

Location:  Registration will be taken at the Recreation Office located at the Armando Recreation Center, 92 Pleasant Street.  The office will be open Monday thru Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Payment:  Payment must accompany all registrations.  Checks should be made payable to Town of Canton.  Non-residents are assessed an additional $10 fee on each program when openings are available.  Canton residents are given first priority when registering for summer programs.
